I play a fair amount of golf. Some golfers play at the same public or private course every week whereas I play 30 different courses per year and about 60 rounds in a 8 month golf season. I see many great courses, a couple bad courses and a lot of average courses! This course is a nice links style course. This course is very susceptible to wind. I asked the cart boy about the windy conditions and he stated "it's always windy here." Not a major issue though. As a better recreational golfer I felt Honey Brook had a challenging layout and was very forgiving. Course conditions were very good and above average to excellent. Because of its wide fairways and big greens it's a course you can score on and it's a course that probably won't send you home disgruntled after a bad round. BUT the rough is thick and you will lose your golf ball if you don't pay proper attention. My biggest hangup with this course and many many courses throughout the United States is the price for green fees and cart! Too much! It's a major factor in the shrinking golf industry along with the limited time we all have to play this great game. The Staff was very friendly and willing to give great deals on merchandise! The club house has a great restaurant with very good food and reasonable beer prices. It also has a great outdoor area where they hold events in the evenings. I recommend this course for all levels of golfer and would play again.

This course has really come into its own. As an average recreational golfer has all the requirements. Challenging layout but somewhat forgiving. Greens and fairways are some of the best quality for a public course in the area. Their special for after 6PM ($12 walking) was awesome! Really want to go back and play 18. I know the price can be expensive on the weekends but the quality of course is well worth it. Staff is very friendly and the club house has a great restaurant with good food and reasonable prices. It also has a great outdoor area and they hold events in the evenings. This is well worth a try if your looking for a nice round of golf.

Moderately difficult course with beautiful farm country around. Polite staff that are very helpful not condescending. Good course condition. Some unique holes to plan shots. Nice bar for 19th hole.

I've rated this course in the past and it is consistently good. It allows singles to book online for weekend tee times. More courses should o the same. Love this course. A couple of so-so holes, but generally a terrific track. Does not disappoint. Love hearing the Amish buggies on the road that runs next to the back nine.

Was told by a private course that this is the best public course in the area, he was right. Good landing areas from the "Blues", greens are in very good shape, good mix of open/tight holes. If your driver is on (like mine was) the 6,341yds will be VERY fun. I will stop and play again when i'm traveling thru this area.

Terrific combination of links-ish, parkland, and woodland holes. Love the fact that website allows singles to sign up for tee times. Got several times for Sundays by signing up Saturday night late. Favorite course in the area.

Well maintained, friendly staffed, priced right... is on the Berks, Chester, Lancaster County Line so it is not a quick ride from Bucks County.
